Documentaries
Around sixty films, produced between 1940’s and 90’s, have already undergone the digital remastering process at WFDiF in Warsaw. They include film portrayals of Polish cities, documentaries depicting the daily life in the countryside, portrayals of athletes, artists and representatives of other, often declining professions. Another interesting film collection includes pieces in which music plays the lead role. They allow us to get to know, for example, All That Jazz, so popular in the 50’s and 60’s. Among the remastered productions, we can find, among others, films by Karabasz, Łoziński, Munk and Ślesicki. These works contribute to the rich history of the Polish documentary school.
